PCT 22' Strava journal - Day 57 & 58

Town day!! Beautiful and easy 26 km into Red Meadows for a zero in Mammoth Lakes. Cold morning where we cross the 900 mile mark and celebrate our 8 weeks on trail. The last miles we walk through a burned pine tree forest but the views are pretty impressive. We get a shuttle bus towards Mammoth Lakes which seems to be a very big ski resort with a Dutch bakery, a Mexican restaurant, a brewery and so much more. We treat ourselves to a cheap motel and a lot of food.
